How to Get There

The Southernmost Point of the Continental US is located at the corner of South Street and Whitehead Street. So, to reach this amazing attraction, all you have to do is make your way to one of these streets and follow it south. Eventually, the two streets will meet at a corner, and you’ll find yourself in front of one of the best things to do in Key West.

You’ve made your way out of your Key West Vacation Home and come down to the Southernmost Point. You’ve admired the view of the water and gotten your picture taken in front of the Southernmost Point Buoy. Now what? Start by walking a block away to get to Duval Street. Here, you’ll find all kinds of shops and restaurants to stop into. If you’ve come first thing in the morning, maybe you can grab a coffee! From there, make your way to the Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory to see the beautiful insects all around you, or learn some history at the Southernmost House. Finally, if you simply want to relax, walk over to South Beach to chill out on the sand or cool off in the waters of the Atlantic.
