What and When is the Key West Offshore Powerboat Race?
Race World Offshore hosts these fun powerboat races in Key West, Florida, bringing together some of the most talented and passionate offshore racers in the country. In 2021, the event will take place from Sunday, November 7, to Sunday, November 14, for an entire week full of the most exciting super powerboat races in Key West!
There are tons of fun happenings going on during this event, but most of what you’ll see is incredible boat races. If you’re staying in one of our Key West rentals and have never experienced a boat race before, this is an event you won’t want to miss! If you’re in town for the beginning of the festivities, try to come out on the first day and catch the World’s Fastest Boat Parade!
How Can You Watch/Participate?
To attend this event and experience one of the best things to do in Key West, you’ll need to purchase admission. Adults can get single-day admission for $25 or a 3-day pass for $53. Kids 12 and under enter for free, as do military members and veterans (with their proper military ID).
There are also tons of ways to participate besides simply watching the races. Come check out the opening ceremony on the first day of the event, attend the parades throughout the week, and cheer on the second annual Build-a-Boat Contest participants! You can even try your hand in the Build-a-Boat Contest; sign up online ahead of the event.
